Brazil away shirts rarely go all-black. This time Jordan Brand put two strong languages together: a deep royal-blue body and near-light-swallowing black details. It is less upbeat than the traditional Seleção look, and possibly the most street-ready shirt of the tournament.

Elephant print: Jordan’s private signature

The body is covered in a fine elephant print, one of Jordan Brand’s most recognisable graphics. It does not rely on colour contrast but on texture: against the dark blue, the pattern only appears when light rakes across it, like embossed leather. The result looks restrained in photographs and far richer in person.

If you are not deep into sneaker culture, the print may read as an abstract texture. If you are, it is an instant signature. That dual audience is what makes the shirt interesting.

The palette: Royal Blue, Total Black and Aqua

The main colour is a deep royal blue, paired with black. Aqua side panels appear only when you lift an arm or turn, giving the dark silhouette a hidden breath of colour. Volt appears only on the Jumpman logo and the CBF crest — a small area, but enough to light up the whole shirt.

  • Royal blue: more colourful than black, more grounded than bright blue.
  • Total black: used on the collar, cuffs and side panels to hold the brightness down.
  • Aqua panels: a hidden highlight that only shows in motion.
  • Volt branding: small, high-contrast and highly recognisable.

Details and fabric

The inner back neck carries the words “Vai Brasa” — Portuguese for “go on, burn” — a familiar Brazilian rallying cry. The fabric is light and matchday-oriented, prioritising breathability in heat. The elephant print is an embossed-style application, so wash inside out in cold water and avoid pressing a hot iron directly onto the pattern.

How to wear it

This shirt belongs with black or dark bottoms. Black cargos, black straight-leg denim and dark grey track pants all let the royal blue and volt stand out. Choose black or white shoes and avoid a third high-saturation colour. For a Jordan-inflected look, add sneakers with elephant-print details, but keep that as the only texture statement in the outfit.

If you usually wear a lot of colour, this is a useful anchoring piece: distinctive enough to carry a look, calm enough not to fight everything else in your wardrobe.

Collector’s note

The Jordan Brand and Brazil partnership is a crossover by design, and this away shirt layers sneaker culture, football culture and streetwear into one piece. The navy-and-black palette is also easier to wear than the classic yellow-and-green. For collectors, it is a meaningful alternative to buying the home shirt every cycle.
